Ginger Water Recipe
Ingredients
1–2 inches fresh ginger root
4 cups water
Optional:
Lemon slices
Honey
Mint leaves
Instructions
Wash and peel the ginger (optional).
Slice or grate the ginger.
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Add the ginger and reduce heat.
Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Strain into a pitcher or mug.
Serve warm or chill and pour over ice.
Optional Flavor Additions
Add lemon for brightness.
Stir in honey while warm for sweetness.
Add mint for a cooling flavor.
Storage
Keep refrigerated for up to 3 days.
