Homemade Coconut Chocolate Bars
Ingredients
3 cups shredded coconut
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups milk chocolate or dark chocolate chips
1 tbsp coconut oil or butter
Instructions
Mix the filling
In a bowl, combine shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla.
Stir until thick and sticky.
Shape the bars
Form into small logs or rectangles like in the picture.
Place on a parchment-lined tray.
Freeze
Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
Melt chocolate
Melt chocolate with coconut oil/butter until smooth.
Dip the bars
Coat each coconut bar in melted chocolate using forks.
Set
Place back on tray and refrigerate until chocolate hardens.
Optional
Use dark chocolate for a more classic “Bounty” flavor.
Add a pinch of salt for richer taste.
Drizzle white chocolate on top for decoration.
