Ginger & Turmeric Warm Drink
Ingredients
2 cups (500 ml) water
1 thumb-size fresh ginger, sliced or grated
1 thumb-size fresh turmeric (or 1 tsp ground turmeric)
Juice of ½ lemon
1 tsp honey (optional)
Small pinch of black pepper (helps turmeric absorption)
Instructions
Bring water to a gentle boil.
Add ginger and turmeric. Simmer 10–15 minutes.
Strain into a cup.
Stir in lemon juice and honey.
Add a tiny pinch of black pepper and serve warm.
Optional: add cinnamon for extra flavor.
