Clove Tea Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (500 ml) water
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves (about 8–10 cloves)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 small cinnamon stick (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the whole cloves (and the cinnamon stick if using).
  3. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 8–10 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and strain the tea into a cup.
  5. Add honey and lemon juice if desired.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy.

Note: Clove tea has a warm, spicy flavor and may have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. However, claims that it cures headaches, cleanses the lungs, or burns fat are not strongly supported by scientific evidence. It’s best enjoyed as a flavorful herbal drink rather than a medical treatment.
