🥔 Creamy Pour-Over Potato Casserole
🛒 Ingredients
5–6 medium potatoes (russet or any you have), thinly sliced
1 cup heavy cream (the “creamy pour-over”)
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar works great)
2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp butter (for greasing dish)
👩🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Prep potatoes
Peel (optional) and slice potatoes thinly for even cooking.
Layer them
Grease a glass casserole dish with butter.
Add potatoes in even layers, seasoning lightly with salt, pepper, and garlic between layers.
Pour the magic
Slowly pour the heavy cream over the potatoes so it seeps through all the layers.
Top it off
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top.
Bake
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
