🍀 Irish 4-Ingredient Tender Beef Dinner
🛒 Ingredients (only 4!)
1–1.5 kg beef chuck roast (or stewing beef)
1 can (330–440 ml) stout beer (like Guinness)
1 packet onion soup mix
2–3 cloves garlic (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
👨🍳 Instructions
Prep the beef
Place the beef in a slow cooker (or a deep casserole dish if using oven).
Add flavor
Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the meat. Add garlic.
Pour the stout
Pour the beer over everything. Don’t stir—just let it soak in.
Cook low & slow
Slow cooker: 6–8 hours on low (best result)
Oven: Cover and bake at 160°C for 3–4 hours
Serve
The beef should be fall-apart tender. Serve with:
