🥦 Crispy Roasted Cauliflower (Better-than-Meat Style)
🧾 Ingredients
1 large head of cauliflower
3–4 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika (smoked paprika is best)
1/2 tsp onion powder (optional)
2–4 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional, for extra crispiness)
Optional garnish: fresh parsley or lemon juice
🔥 Instructions
- Prep the cauliflower
Cut the cauliflower into medium florets (not too small or they’ll burn).
Pat dry well—this is key for crispiness. - Season
In a large bowl, toss florets with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder.
Mix until evenly coated. - Roast
Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
Spread cauliflower on a baking tray in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
Roast for 20 minutes. - Crisp it up
Flip florets and roast another 10–15 minutes until golden brown and crispy edges form.
If using Parmesan, sprinkle it on during the last 5 minutes. - Finish & serve
Optional: squeeze a little lemon juice on top or sprinkle fresh parsley.
Serve hot and crispy!
