Soft Skillet Flatbread (No-Oven Pan Bread)
Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon instant yeast
1 cup warm milk
1/2 cup warm water (more if needed)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon yogurt (optional, for extra softness)
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
Add warm milk, warm water, oil, and yogurt (if using).
Mix until a soft dough forms. Knead for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Divide the dough into 8–10 equal balls.
Flatten each ball gently into small round discs, about 1/2 inch thick.
Cover and rest for 10–15 minutes.
Heat a non-stick pan or skillet over medium heat (no oil needed).
Cook each bread for 2–3 minutes per side until puffed and golden brown spots appear.
Stack and cover with a clean towel to keep soft.
