Slow Cooker Creamy Rice Comfort Dish
Ingredients
2 cups uncooked white rice (long grain works well)
4 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
1 can cream of chicken soup (about 10.5 oz)
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for extra comfort)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
The “1 Mixture”
In a bowl, mix together:
chicken broth
cream of chicken soup
milk
butter
garlic powder
onion powder
black pepper
salt
Instructions
Spray the slow cooker lightly with oil or grease with butter.
Add the uncooked rice to the slow cooker.
Pour the prepared creamy mixture over the raw rice.
Stir gently to combine.
Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours or until the rice is tender (check near the 2-hour mark since slow cookers vary).
If using cheese, stir it in during the last 15 minutes.
Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

broccoli
peas
