Oven Fried Chicken Wings
Ingredients
2 lbs (about 1 kg) chicken wings, split and tips removed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 teaspoon baking powder (for extra crispiness)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
In a large bowl, toss wings with olive oil.
In another bowl, mix:
flour
paprika
garlic powder
onion powder
salt
black pepper
cayenne pepper
baking powder
Coat each wing evenly in the flour mixture.
Place wings on a wire rack set over a baking tray (or directly on a lined baking sheet).
Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch, barbecue, or honey garlic sauce.
Optional Garlic Butter Toss
Melt:
3 tablespoons butter
2 minced garlic cloves
1 tablespoon parsley
Toss baked wings in this mixture before serving for extra flavor.
