Cholesterol-Lowering “Daily Spoonful” Mix
This kind of recipe is usually a fiber-rich seed and spice blend that can be added to yogurt, smoothies, or eaten by the spoonful.
Ingredients
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp oats (blended into powder)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp natural peanut butter or almond butter
1 tbsp honey (optional)
2–3 tbsp warm water or unsweetened yogurt
Instructions
Mix the flaxseed, chia seeds, oat powder, and cinnamon.
Stir in peanut butter and honey.
Add enough warm water or yogurt to make a thick paste.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
How to Use
Eat 1 spoonful daily in the morning.
You can also stir it into oatmeal, smoothies, or yogurt.
