Slow Cooker Brown Gravy Beef Dinner
Ingredients
500–700 g ground beef
1 packet brown gravy mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
3–4 potatoes, peeled and diced (or sliced)
Optional (but recommended)
1 small onion, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
½ cup water or beef broth (if you want it a bit saucier)
Instructions
Brown the beef (optional but better):
In a pan, cook the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
Layer in slow cooker:
Add potatoes (and onion if using) to the bottom.
Add cooked ground beef on top.
Add the flavor:
Sprinkle the brown gravy mix evenly over everything.
Spoon in the cream of mushroom soup.
Mix lightly:
Pour in a little water or broth if you want extra gravy, then gently stir just to spread things around.
Cook:
LOW: 6–7 hours
HIGH: 3–4 hours
Until potatoes are tender.
Serve:
Stir before serving so the gravy coats everything.
