🛒 Ingredients
2 cod fillets (fresh or thawed)
1–2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional but recommended)
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
1 egg
Lemon wedges (for serving)
👨‍🍳 Instructions
Preheat air fryer
Set to 200°C (400°F) for about 3–5 minutes.
Prep the coating
In one bowl: beat the egg
In another: mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
Prepare the cod
Pat fillets dry (important for crispiness!)
Lightly brush with olive oil
Dip each piece into the egg, then coat well in the breadcrumb mixture
Air fry
Place in the basket (don’t overcrowd)
Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through
Fish should be golden and flake easily with a fork
Finish & serve
Squeeze fresh lemon juice on top
Optional: sprinkle parsley or extra Parmesan

Don’t skip drying the fish—this makes a huge difference
Use panko instead of regular breadcrumbs for extra crunch
If your fillets are thick, add 2–3 extra minutes
