🥒 Zero Point Cucumber “Bang” Snack
Ingredients
2 large cucumbers (or 3–4 small ones)
1–2 tsp lemon juice (or lime juice)
1 tsp vinegar (optional but gives extra tang)
1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1/2 tsp chili flakes (or more if you like heat)
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder (or 1 small grated garlic clove)
Optional: pinch of cumin or dried mint for extra flavor
Instructions
Prep the cucumbers:
Wash and slice them thinly (rounds or half-moons). You can peel them if you want, but leaving the skin keeps more crunch.
Salt them lightly (optional step):
Sprinkle a little salt and let them sit for 5–10 minutes. This draws out water and makes them extra crunchy. Drain any liquid.
Mix the seasoning:
In a bowl, combine lemon juice, vinegar, chili flakes, paprika, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Toss everything:
Add cucumbers to the bowl and mix well until evenly coated.
Chill (optional but better):
Let it sit in the fridge for 10–15 minutes so the flavors “hit” harder.
Tips
Add a splash of soy sauce if you want a salty-umami twist.
Add crushed ice cubes when serving for an ultra-refreshing snack.
Works great with carrots or sliced bell peppers too.
