Creamy Potato Bake Casserole
A cozy, creamy potato casserole that’s simple, rich, and perfect for a cold evening.
Ingredients
6 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 cups heavy cream or half-and-half
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika (optional)
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Butter a glass casserole dish.
Layer half the potatoes and onions in the dish.
In a bowl, mix cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Pour half the creamy mixture over the potatoes.
Sprinkle with half the cheese.
Repeat layers with remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheese.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
