Turmeric Ginger “Golden” Drink
Ingredients
1 cup (250 ml) warm water or milk (regular or plant-based)
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric (or 1 tsp fresh grated)
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (or 1/4 tsp powder)
1 pinch of black pepper (important for absorption)
1 teaspoon honey or sugar (optional)
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
Warm the water or milk (don’t boil).
Add turmeric, ginger, and black pepper.
Stir well and let it sit for 2–3 minutes.
Strain if using fresh ginger/turmeric.
Add honey and lemon if you like.
Drink warm, ideally once a day.
Tips
Black pepper helps your body absorb turmeric better.
Some people drink it in the evening as a warm calming drink.
Start with small amounts if you’re not used to ginger or turmeric.
