Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Thighs
Ingredients
6 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on works best)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Optional: pinch of cayenne for heat
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3–5 minutes.
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels for extra crispy skin.
Rub the chicken with olive oil.
In a small bowl, mix all seasonings together and coat the chicken evenly.
Place chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook for 12 minutes.
Flip the chicken and cook another 10–13 minutes until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Tips
Don’t overcrowd the basket — cook in batches if needed.
For extra crispiness, spray lightly with cooking oil halfway through cooking.
Boneless thighs cook faster: about 16–18 minutes total.
