🧀 Golden Cheese Puff Pastry Parcels
Ingredients (makes 18–24 pieces):
2 sheets puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
250 g feta cheese, crumbled (or mix feta + mozzarella)
150 g cream cheese or ricotta
1 egg
2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
1 egg yolk + 1 tbsp milk (for brushing)
Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Mix feta, cream cheese, whole egg, and parsley until creamy.
Cut puff pastry into squares (about 8–10 cm / 3–4 inches).
Put 1 tablespoon filling in the center of each square.
Fold corners toward the center to create little parcels and pinch lightly.
Place on tray and brush tops with egg yolk + milk.
Optional: sprinkle sesame seeds.
Bake 20–25 minutes until deeply golden and puffed.
Cool 5 minutes before serving.
